The mouse and touchpad feel different
Most Macs do not have a touchscreen. MacBooks use a touchpad. To right-click, you usually click or tap the touchpad with two fingers. Scrolling may feel backward at first.
Shortcuts use different keys
You use the Command key instead of the Control key for copy, paste, save, and print. The Delete key works more like the Backspace key on your PC.
Your old cords may need an adapter
Many MacBooks use small, oval USB-C ports. Some MacBook Pro models have extra ports. Older flash drives, printer cords, screen cables, and memory cards may need a small adapter.

A Mac handles web browsing, email, photos, documents, video calls, and printing well. It can be an especially good fit if you already use an iPhone or iPad.
Windows-only programs may not work on a Mac. Examples include the Windows version of Quicken Classic desktop, some greeting-card software, some card games, and some church software.
