Remote support
Many computer problems can be fixed without a visit. With your permission, Sean can see your screen and fix the issue while you watch.
How a remote session works
You stay on the phone with Sean the whole time. Nothing happens on your computer unless you say so. Here is all it takes:
Windows steps
Call (813) 770-6082 and say you need remote help. Sean will give you a short code over the phone.
Find the Windows key on your keyboard — it has a little Windows flag on it, usually at the bottom-left. Press it once, then type the words quick assist. When you see Quick Assist appear at the top of the list, press Enter (or click it with your mouse).
Do you not see it? It may need a quick, free install. Press the Windows key, type store, and open the Microsoft Store. Search for Quick Assist and install the app made by Microsoft. Then open it the same way described above.
Type in the code Sean gave you, click Submit, then click Allow. Sean can now see your screen and help. You can end the session any time by closing the app.
Mac steps
Call (813) 770-6082 and say you need remote help. Sean will stay on the phone with you the whole time.
On your Mac, open Safari and go to rustdesk.com. Download the Mac version, open the downloaded file, and drag RustDesk into your Applications folder. Then open RustDesk from Applications.
Permission pop-ups: your Mac will ask you to allow Screen Recording and Accessibility for RustDesk. Turn both on, then reopen RustDesk if it asks you to.
RustDesk shows a 9-digit ID number. Read it to Sean over the phone. When he connects, click Accept. Sean can now see your screen and help. You can end the session any time by closing RustDesk.
Watch: two easy ways to open Quick Assist
A short video walks through both ways — press the Windows key and type, or use the keyboard shortcut.
Is this safe?
Yes — because you stay in control.
Nothing happens until you type the code and click Allow.
Every click Sean makes happens on your screen, right in front of you.
Close Quick Assist at any time and the session ends right away.
Sean will never call you out of the blue and ask to connect to your computer. Scammers do that. A remote session only ever starts when you call him first.
What can be fixed remotely?
A lot of everyday problems — no visit needed:
Scary messages, fake virus alerts, and toolbars you never asked for.
Email not sending, password problems, or a mailbox that looks wrong.
The printer is connected but nothing comes out.
Cleanup and tune-up work that does not need new parts.
Getting a new program installed and set the way you like it.
Some things still need a visit: a broken screen, a computer that will not turn on, or installing new equipment like TVs and cameras.
